Fantasy 1977 Ford F-100 Hits the Auction Block
Ford pickups built from 1973 through 1979 are affectionately known as “dentsides” by fans everywhere. These stylish trucks have built up a cult-like following and are considered to be the pinnacle of Ford Trucks by many. It simply doesn’t get much better than these great looking and capable workhorses. If you detect a little bias in those comments, you’re probably right!
The 1977 Ford F-100 above is a great example of why dentsides are so popular. With a nice and unique metallic blue paint job, flawless chrome and an iconic stainless trim, you just can’t help but feel all warm and fuzzy when you look at a truck of this caliber.
The 15″ American Torq Thrust wheels with staggered size tires give it a bit of an aggressive look. The houndstooth bench seat gives the interior a bit of nostalgic flair to go along with the blue bits. Power comes from the iconic 302 V8, which even has the original two-barrel carb on top.
