Modern motorhomes features many comfort, luxury and tech features that we’ve grown to depend on, but it’s the retro vans and RVs that have true style and charm.

Just check out this 1972 Ford Econoline E200 Sportsmobile. Our friends at Hemmings have listed this incredibly good looking camping van from back in the day, and we can only hope that you’re its next owner.

This American beauty has been pampered and treated to a fully rebuilt engine and transmission, plus a complete overhaul, which by the looks of it on the photos, it was a pretty darn good job. It seems like the interior packs all the necessities to have a kick-ass weekend at your favorite sporting event or state park.

Here’s the vehicles description form the owner’s words: “Econoline 302 V8, C4 auto transmission, no overdrive. 118,365 total miles on van. Has the following: A/C, cruise control, pop top, two beds, fridge, stove, sink, closet, original porta potti, trailer hitch (no wiring) closet, two auxiliary batteries, Kenwood stereo w/cd, Pioneer 6×9’s ( have original AM/FM radio) everything works. Pop Top has one small dime size hole in screen. Van has a few small rust spots under side molding on passenger side, that do not seem to be growing. I replaced the plastic tray on the dog house cover with a piece of wood and leather. Van had a re-spray in 1984. I have all the original sales receipts and brochures, and receipts form recent work done .Van is originally from Indiana, first owner bought it new and had the Sportsmobile conversion done in 1972.”

Convinced yet? If so, head out to California and make this puppy yours!
