Under hood is a 1989 to 1993 Ford 302 Roller Cam Block with 1972 302 heads. The Edelbrock 600cfm carburetor feeds fuel and air into a matching aluminum intake manifold before a camshaft from a 5.0 Mustang opens the valves. That spent fuel is then sent down a custom dual exhaust system. You also get a serpentine belt drive for modern belt change convenience along with power steering and brakes. It also has a rebuilt C4 automatic attached and sends torque to a Dana 60 rear end. To say the least, it is a good powertrain and engine combination but we wonder why they didn’t opt for a 351-cubic-inch V8 instead. Well, at least it isn’t a Chevy engine.

The inside, though, is rather nice looking if a bit basic. The bench seat looks to be out of a newer truck or van, as the plastic covering the seat back hinge is new looking. The upholstery also looks like it hasn’t seen much action as there don’t appear to be any wear marks. The seat belts have been replaced but are still standard lap belts. Up on the roof is a new reupholstered headliner. Again, nothing to fancy but that does leave room for some custom work or just to leave it alone for that OEM feel.
