Behold the Ford Bronco of Your Dreams!
Wild, rock-crawling and trail-conquering classic Broncos are a dime-a-dozen these days. Most of them have fuel injected 302’s, relatively large tires, and enough suspension upgrades to make them feasible toys for weekend fun. But every once in a while somebody decides to build the Bronco of their dreams and take things a step further!
This 1968 Bronco is owned by a guy who decided to take things several steps further. It all starts under the; well… there is no hood. A 363 Dart block serves as the base for a 6-71 blower for a beast of a small block. AFR heads, a custom intake manifold, and a fast fuel-injection system contribute to what is undoubtedly a powerful beast of a power plant. Didn’t I tell you this was the Bronco of your dreams?
Underneath you’ll find a Dana 44 in the front and a 60 in the back, with King coilover shocks on all four corners. There are a lot of serious off road parts here, from 35 spline chromoly rear axles to hydro-assist steering to turn those big meaty 39.5×16.5×16.5 Pitbull Rocker tires.
This is no subtle truck, obviously. Equally capable of smoking all four tires on pavement and traversing rocky terrain, this Bronco is a serious toy for big kids. No expense has been spared here for a build that took three years, and probably a lot of blood, sweat and cash. In a world full of cookie-cutter Broncos, this wild beast stands (literally) above the rest!
