Meet This 1965 Ford F-100, AKA “The Hoon Truck” (Video)

By -

Ever met a detail-oriented and boring mechanic who made you wish you never picked up a wrench? If you have, it’s time to attend Valvoline Night School!

We’ll be the first ones to tell you that not everything related to cars and trucks is fun and games. No, being a mechanic, an automotive journalist, or even an engineer is hard work, even when surrounded by awesome rides all the time.

That being said, if you love to wrench on your own Ford truck on your spare time, you should be having a blast about 99 percent of the time. Until you lose the 10mm wrench, that is. That’s exactly what the good folks from Hooniverse have set out to do with the Valvoline Night School. Watch as Jeff and Tim tinker with the 1965 Ford F-100 they’ve originally named “The Hoon Truck.”

Episode one involves getting the valve seals replaced, and checking other trouble spots on the 52-year-old Ford truck. Episode two gets a little more intense when they suddenly realize the entire engine has to come out.

Stay tuned and find out what happens to the one and only Hoon Truck!
