This 1955 F-100 is Pure Vintage Goodness
This 1955 F-100 Is Gorgeous as It Is Bright
Is there anything that screams vintage more than a Pinecrest Green stock 1955 F-100? It’s bright enough to annoy you, slow enough to upset the car behind you, and lovely enough to get a thumbs up from anyone. Maybe even a Chevy fan!
This example is all of the above and more. The current owner performed a high quality restoration, so it’s one of the better looking ’50s Fords out there. There’s also a lack of flashy mods, which we’re thankful for. Professionals disassembled the truck during the restoration process, and everything from rubber gaskets to seals and glass were replaced.
Instead of having a typical 6 cylinder and 3-on-the-tree drivetrain combination, this one has a Y-block V8 and a 4 speed floor-mounted manual shifter. They’ve both been rebuilt, along with the brakes, shocks, ball joints, and others.
Inside, you’ll find more Pinecrest Green with new parts including door panels, seat, and headliner. Everywhere you look you’ll see well-maintained parts, which add up to a seriously nice 1955 F-100. Just one glance at this nicely-optioned truck is enough to transport you back to the ’50s — even if you weren’t around back then!
