This Blazing Orange 1952 Ford F-1 is for Attention Seekers Only

By -

Are you the type of person that wants attention when you walk in a room or pull up at your local cruise night? Can’t stand it when people ignore you?  Then this outrageously loud 1952 F-1 is for you.  It’s blazing Lamborghini Metallic Orange paint will be burning up retinas everywhere it goes.

The unusual color choice actually complements the smooth lines of this classic Ford, and the remaining chrome trim really sets it off. The 19″ Zenetti wheels aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but they work with the modern paint.

If the insanely bright paint job isn’t enough to grab the attention you seek, the whine from the Vortec supercharged 5.0 under the hood should be enough to seal the deal. The small block has been further beefed up with a custom roller cam, Edelbrock carb, Weiand intake, and headers directing spent fumes through a dual exhaust.

The low stance is courtesy of a Mustang II front end, and the rear end is an 8.8″ unit. The interior is, interestingly enough, brown.  In addition to the leather seats, headliner, and door panels, there is a modern stereo, air conditioning, Autometer gauges, and a Grant steering wheel.

The custom truck world is a diverse crowd. Some like subtle sleepers that don’t attract the attention of the law, and others think that deviating from stock is blasphemy. Then there are those who want their truck to be the automotive version of Gilbert Godfrey. If you fall into the latter camp, this truck’s for you.
