1937 Ford with Modern Touches is the Complete Package
When it comes to classic builds, keeping things original is most often preferred. That said, a few modern touches never hurt anyone, and the combination of classic with modern on this 1937 Ford Sedan–offered by RKM Motors— put it in the ultra-clean category.
Nothing too fancy here: Black cherry paint on a steel/fiberglass, frame-off restored body makes the car look elegant, without being over the top. Extra touches like ribbed alloy bumpers and polished hood ornament round it out as a simple stunner.
Modern features come into play with automatic leather chairs, electric wipers and LED taillights. The car also has air conditioning and an updated audio system, while we are it.
Under the hood sits a 351 cubic inch Windsor motor with aluminum intake and cast iron heads. Simplicity and reliability come to mind with this mill, not to mention the finished engine bay with polished firewall. The Windsor is paired to a 4-speed Ford AOD transmission and a 9-inch rear axle.
Sometimes a ground-up restoration and the right finishes make the biggest impact. If you’re in the market for a clean street rod that was done the right way, look no further. $59,000 will put it in your garage–or you can look at the rest of the pictures here and keep dreaming with us. We won’t judge.
