I just happened to have saved "The High Speed Characteristics of Pickup
Trucks" in my Favorites bin. Unfortunately, I don't know how to link the
silly thing, so you'll have to type in the address:
http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.web-presence.com/mac/trucks.html
Hope this helps!

Black Beauty is made from pumice - a porous volcanic rock with a texture
similar to a sponge.

This stuff is good to use (although expensive) because it does remove the
threat of silicosis from using silica sand.

It's great material. Fairly aggressive. I recently restored a farm
tractor. The stuff did a number on the years of rust and old paint!

Well here's what is in store for you.

Your new fuel will have 10% less gas in it than before so you can expect a
small decrease in fuel milage and no to very little increase in performance.
The reformulated fuels have one of the following ingrediants:

MTBE: methyl(something or other) butyl ETHER !
Methonol alcohol: Wood alcohol
Ethanol alcohol: Corn alcohol, BUT not human grade :(

These items when burned produce some more oxygen and in this manner reduce
pollutants. As for octane ratings oxygenated fuels usualy have a rating that
is 2 points higher than non oxygenated (reformulated) fuels.

Now then if i could get Ford to put a new in my turbo car so that i could run
M85 (85% alcohol,15% gas)........
