If you pickup a brouchure at the dealer, it has all dimensions.

In response to the response from doug moore. I cannot afford to buy a
vehicle a yr. for five years. The reason I have is one upgrade and two
replacements for totaled vehicles because of other drivers. I am just
recounting my experience with my salesman. I too use the service dept.
more than the salesman. I have what I consider a good relation with my
salesman.. He is there to make a living and I am there to get a good
deal on a good vehicle. The two can go together. The service dept.
also takes good care of me or I would not go back, no matter how good
the deal is. All manufacturers had better wake up and learn that
service is the key.

My 99 F-350, V-10, 4.30 gears, auto, 4X4 Supercab, DRW Cab-chassis does
not feel terribly powerful. I notice the fan is very active, possibly
sucking up a lot of power. It has a viscous clutch (which is not stuck),
is it supposed to be thermostatically controlled? There is a lot of
noise at high RPM(3500), like suction noise from an uncovered 4 barrel,
but it does not stop if you let up on the gas...I assume this is fan
noise, is it normal? Truck has only 200 miles so far.

I have found some Cooper SST Radial 285/75R16 tires for a real bargan from the
local Goodyear dealer. I have never heard of Cooper tires before and was
wondering if they are any good. What kind of tire is the Cooper compared to the
BFG/MT??

I was reading an article in a magazine about Chevy Z71 suspension. They said
that it was their favorite suspension package. When I rode in my friends (not
a good friend cause he owns a Chevy) 1500 Z71 off-road, it was the worst ride
I've ever had! My F-350 Power Stroke has a smoother ride! Is there something
I am missing here?

>From brochure dated 3/98:

99 F-250 Super Duty SRW Supercab 4X4 141.8 in wheelbase (6.75 box)
Cab height empty 80.4 in
Max width 80.0
Overall length 227.0

Not responsible for typos if it doesn't fit your garage! But seriously,
check the width depending on which mirrors you get, and which rear bumper
you add, etc.

I had some COOPER tires and they weren't very good on wet pavment. As always there
are some good and bad years in everything. Best thing to do is find some local
garages that know about them for your area.
Cooper is a fairly old tire producing company.
