GOOD NEWS
Going to rebuild the truck and get her back on the road!! Gonna call in "Project Back in Black"!
A QUICK HISTORY. Was bought in 2003 from a contractor and after being abused by the prev owner(towing a 1000lb contractors cap and trailer), she needed some TLC and hard work. I've done all the body work and mechanical work. All around ball joints, drag link, tie rod end, fuel pump, wheel bering, windshield and a bunch of sensors. I love this rig and I'll run it till she dies!
ADMINS-please keep this gallery, I know its not a truck/van/suv, but its a Ford none the less. Keep it as a reminder on how dangerous it is to drink and drive. Thanks.
A friend of mines accident 9/16/05. Shortly after I left a party at about 1:30am, friend(we call P) decided to drag race another friend. Just after entering our town, theres a sharp curve and a side street with a power pole and a big old oak tree on either side of that side st. P missed the curve, went between the power pole and it's guide wire and hit the oak tree doing 90-110. Drunk, high, cooler of beer and big bag of pot.
After blowing up the engine, I decided to rebuild the `ol girl. Started with a `88 302 (fresh rebuild), new body panels, paint and rims. Still a work in progress, the ultimate goal is to make it into a capable trail truck and tow rig while still begin able to be a daily driver. I decided to name the project Back in Black, and rename the truck Mud Hawg(after consulting with by buddies). Definitely going to be fun and well worth the money!
