466 CU. IN. automatic 4x4

Mileage: 145000
Modifications
460 cu.in. .030 over SRP forged pistons, ARP stud hardware throughout engine, D3VE stock cast iron cyl. heads ported and polished with SS oversize valves, motorsport valve train, (camshaft, lifters, push rods, springs, retainers, keepers, roller rockers) MSD 6AL ignition, MSD billet dist., MSD timing retard for the 250 HP nitrous oxide cheater system, stealth intake manifold, holley 750 cfm carb, 5inch X 14inch K&N air cleaner, L&L full length chassis exit hearders, 2.5 inch pipes and flow master mufflers, L&L oil pan and pick up, high volume oil pump, C-6 trans with a Hughes 2500 stall converter, heavy duty one peice cast iron clutch bands, R code servo, manual valve body, and aux. oil cooler. A Dana 44 lives up front and a 9 inch with a full spool and 4.10 gears in the rear. The restoration of this truck was finished in June of 2003 with a body from Georgia and many parts from JBG and LMC truck. A friend of mine painted the truck back to the stock "dark jade metallic" (factory color code "B") with a PPG base coat/clear coat paint. The truck has been wet sanded with 2000 grit paper and wheeled to it's current finish. This truck has many factory options installed like: tilt wheel, delay wipers, locking hood latch, all courtsey lights including ash tray and glove box, sun-x windows, etc... I take this truck to the Silver Lake sand Dunes and race it at the West Michigan Sand Dragway. When there I run 32X14 inch Hookers in the rear and air down the fronts to 6 psi for traction. I have ran a best of 5.02 at 59.8 MPH. This truck has appeared in many magazine's and has won a few awards at various shows since restoration in 2003.

By bigsnag

can you tell me what the paint code was on that truck you used for the body parts was. i am thinking of a silverish color and i was curious what the paint code was on that truck
By trucking79

trucking79, I have updated my specs above to include the paint code now. paint code used was the stock 1977 color code of "B" Dark Jade Metallic. The OEM paint was enamel and we used PPG base coat/ clear coat paint to restore it. -Ed

Love the truck, nice ride. By the way I rember an old willys that we drove into Lake Michigan 36 years ago in New Buffalo. we had to have the cable from the wrecker run the cable over the dunes to pull it out.
