Note: If you have small hands you can change it without taking the whole assembly out. Im getting quite good at it, D**N Ford locks!!! Anyone know where to get these cheap. I should get some spares.

I just bought a 2000 exc, and guess what!! this problem is on, i never new about this site but i did a google search and found it,signed up and another local searh ,,,,found this helpfull info that was exact what i was looking for.now i will try to fix it, thank you much for your time to post all this info for everybody.
