Some 2011 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with factory-installed remote start, when using the remote start feature may exhibit a slow to defrost windshield or slow to build passenger cabin heat condition.
Reprogram the Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) Module to the latest software calibration level using the IDS release 73.03A or higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2011.5 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraft.com.
