2003-2007 F-Super Duty
This article supersedes TSBs 8-18-6, 8-20-1 and 8-26-3 to consolidate information released and direct all repairs to the updated service procedures located in the online Workshop Manual (WSM) and Powertrain Control/Emission Diagnosis (PC/ED) manual.
Some vehicles equipped with a 6.0L diesel engine may exhibit a no start, hard start / long crank, misfire, rough run, lack of power, buck / jerk or excessive smoke.
Follow the improved diagnostic and repair information contained in the updated online WSM and PC/ED for the customer symptom. The revised service and diagnostic procedures will provide more accurate diagnosis and repair direction. Additional Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) have also been created and updated to support the revisions.
