Some 2007 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 4.2L engine may experience a higher than expected idle on initial startup.
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 45.6 and higher or 46.1 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2006.11 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraft.com.
