Some 2011-2012 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine built on or before 7/9/2012 may fail state inspection and maintenance testing due to the Fuel System Monitor reporting not ready. A calibration update is available to resolve this concern.
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) using IDS release 80.01 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2012.7 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraft.com.
