Some 2004 F-150 vehicles (excluding Heritage) equipped with a 4.6L 2V, may exhibit diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0172 and/or P0175. The malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) will also be on.
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using WDS release B37.4 or higher. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraft.com.
