A low clutch pedal engagement and/or hard shifting after operating several kilometers/miles may occur on some vehicles. This may be caused by air in the clutch hydraulic system, loss of clutch hydraulic fluid, or ballooning of the clutch hydraulic line damper due to temperature and added clutch load causing the clutch to release with pedal against the down stop or not release at all.
