- 6.2L OR 6.8L ENGINE - PTO DISENGAGEMENT WITH VEHICLE BODY MOVEMENT - BUILT ON OR BEFORE 5/12/2010
| Publication Date: August 20, 2010 |
This article supersedes TSB 10-14-3 to add a production fix date.
Some 2011 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.2L or 6.8L engine and built on or before 5/12/2010 may exhibit power take-off (PTO) disengagement and/or loss of stationary elevated idle control (SEIC) during operation. This may occur when vehicle experiences any movement, body roll or rocking. For example, opening a door, standing on the bumper or extending an aerial boom. When this occurs, engine speed goes back to base idle of 650 RPM.
