ISSUE:

Some 2005 F-150 vehicles built before 1/31/2005 and equipped with the 4.6L engine, may exhibit issues related to throttle pedal response hesitation on tip in, or the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) on with one or more of the following diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

  • P0172 - SYSTEM TOO RICH (BANK 1)
  • P0175 - SYSTEM TOO RICH (BANK 2)
  • P0171 - SYSTEM TOO LEAN (BANK 1)
  • P0174 - SYSTEM TOO LEAN (BANK 2)
