Article 02-24-4 is being republished as part of a consolidated 7.3L diagnostic aid booklet, and to update the calibration table.
Some 2002 MY 7.3L DIT F-Super Duty, Econoline & Excursions may exhibit the occurrence of P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor false Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). F-Super Duty & Excursion may exhibit a late 4R100 3-4 shift (hanging in 3rd gear) at light throttle due to potential lack of converter lock-up occurring after 2-3 shift (most prevalent on 3.73:1 axle ratio vehicles). This may be caused by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Calibration.
