This is my 1993 Splash. It has a new 5.0 SVO crate motor and a World Class T-5 5 speed. I use the truck for work and travel over 250 miles a day on Tampa Bay roads. Since the conversion I have put 18,000 miles on the 5.0 V8 and have had no major problems.

Ford SVT!, if you are listening, the V8 gets better MPG than the 3.0 V6. You need to rethink your production plans.
