This sharp 1998 F150 STX belongs to Ryan Johnston (ryanj5prodigy.net)

This 50th Anniversary XLT has a 4.6L Triton V-8 and 3:55 limited slip rear axle. It rides on the stock 17" inch wheels with nice, wide Goodyear Eagle GT II tires. I haven't changed much on the truck since buying it at the end of August, 1998, but I do plan to make some performance and body modifications in the near future. So far I have installed a K & N filter (only the best) which gave the truck a little more get up and go. I've also added a Deflectashield Mirage bug deflector, a Bodygard anti-slip bedliner, and Li-TECH 9007 blue halogen bulbs which are orange during the day and blue at night. I have also installed Weathertech window vents - a fantastic alternative to the ugly Vent Shade products (no offense to those who like them). Weathertech vents fit into the grooves of the weather seal in the window frame and install easily and securely. There's no double sided tape or glue, no leaking, and they give the truck a much lower profile look. Sure, they're a little more expensive - but well worth it.

Future plans include a cat-back exhaust system, AIRAID high flow intake, a ram air hood, and ground effects. These mods will likely be done by Steeda in Pompano Beach, Florida.
