This rare 1978 Bronco Lariat belongs to Michelle Cole (MichellHCaol.com)

The pic was made near the Continental Divide in Colo. on an abandoned rail road grade. The Bronco has a 400 eng. with crane cam, roller rockers, headers, and Edelbrock streetmaster intake, I have adapted it back down to a two barrel, with a 500 cfm holly. I have a Detroit locker in the rear axle with a ARB air locking dif. in the front axle. I have owned the Bronco for six years now and find it to be very unique, it is a Lariat Bronco. 78, and 79 Broncos only came in XLT form. I did have a Ford salesman tell me that Ford built a small number of the Lariat Broncos for the show car/truck circuit when the 78 models came out to promote the new full size Broncos. It has just about all the factor options, including tilt, cruise, and lighted vanity mirrors. The seating surfaces are leather with vinyl trim.
