This 1957 F100 belongs to Ken Toop (toopkjdestiny.esd105.wednet.edu)
The photo was taken last year on the day I bought the truck from my
brother. Since then I have installed an '84 Mustang 5.0 with T5. Some
people have criticised my choice of a T5, but when you look at the
weight of a Mustang and the weight of my truck you ask "Why not?" This
way I saved myself the trouble of swapping out the rear end for easier
gears. The only trick was setting up the cable clutch. I'm pulling the
engine this weekend for a complete rebuild. Hopefully it will be
presentable by next summer. The engine in the photo below the Ford had
some internal problems and was traded off for the 5.0.
