Edge Products Announces the Insight CS and CTS Product Line for
1996 and Newer Vehicles Equipped with an OBDII Port  

OGDEN, UT — From the company that was first to introduce the in-cab digital gauge device, Edge Products is proud to announce two incredible “next generation” products. The all-new Insight CS and Insight CTS products work with any 1996 or newer vehicle equipped with an OBDII (diagnostic) port. The Insight CS and CTS represent the most advanced digital display technology available in the market today.

The Insight CS and CTS come packed in an all-new-ruggedized, black enclosure with a universal system for window mounting (included) or custom dash pod mounting (accessories available from Edge) for that “from the factory” look.

The Insight CS and CTS is an easy-to-install standalone multi-gauge display providing vital information about the performance of your vehicle and can also act as diagnostic scan tool and a backup camera display (CTS only). The Insight takes the place of traditional analog gauges by connecting directly to the vehicle computer and displaying dozens of data parameters that could only be previously captured with expensive and clunky hard-wired sensors and analog gauges. The Insight CS and CTS inexpensively and instantly provide what would otherwise require installation of numerous traditional analog gauges and hundreds of dollars!

The Insight CS and CTS products connect directly into the vehicle’s computer via the OBDII/diagnostic port and read and display all available SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) data. It can display up to 8 parameters (if available) at one time from a list of numerous engine parameters! The Insight CS and CTS displays can be easily changed and configured to allow each user to view the data most important to them. Safety features with user-defined audible alerts as well as performance test features, such as 0-60 and quarter-mile times, are included. Both systems include light sensitivity meters that automatically adjust screen brightness for improved viewing for day or night driving. The Insight CS and CTS also support Edge’s MyStyle software that allows users to create or load any custom image of their choice as the screen background. Now consumers can customize their product to suit their exact mood and style. Users can also customize their gauge arc colors to match their new custom background images!

The Insight CS and CTS can also be used to change power levels on-the-fly created by EFILive™ custom tuning software for the 2001-2005 Duramax LB7 and LLY engines. Simply use the up and down arrow buttons on your Insight to adjust EFILive™ tunes once you have configured your PCM to support this new feature.

The CS model features a full-color, high-resolution 2.4-inch, button-controlled screen. The CTS model is a full-color, high-resolution 4.3-inch touch screen that comes equipped with a video-in port allowing users to connect to Edge’s state-of-the-art backup camera (sold separately including night vision and locking license plate mount!) or any compatible off-the-shelf backup camera or DVD player.

Both models are designed to work in conjunction with the all-new Edge Accessory System (EAS) which allows users to connect multiple future accessories to the product such as additional exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensors with many more accessories to come in the future!

The Insight CS and CTS products eliminate the need for any other gauges in the vehicle. The CS model has a street price of $299.00 and the CTS model carries a street price of $399.
