Flex-a-Lite: A WAY COOL 17 HORSEPOWER FAN FOR YOUR SUPER DUTY ENGINE

A simple way to free-up more power for your engine is to release the load placed on it by the factory clutch fan. Flex-a-lite’s SuperDuty fans are a drill free stock fan replacement that gives 17-hoserpower and 21 lbs.-ft. of torque back to your wheels. The #272 fan fits 1998-’03 Ford SuperDuty 2WD (without electric fan clutch) and #278 fits 1998-’03 Ford Super Duty 4WD.

The #272 electric dual-fan system moves up to 6,200 cubic feet per minute to meet factory recommended GCVW rating and comes with its own sealed aluminum shroud and variable speed controller (VSC). The VSC operates independently from the Ford’s computer system and will not actuate the fan until after 5 seconds to allow for the engine start-up When engine reaches the desired operating temperature (between 160 and 240), the VSC will start the fans at 60% of their potential airflow then will step up the amount of airflow needed to keep it there. VSC operates the fans at 60% when the air conditioning is turned on and delays the fans from turning off for up to 30 seconds after the vehicle ignition is turned off.

Flex-a-lite products are made in the United States and are backed by a full year warranty.
