AJ ALLMENDINGER PACES FORD AT PHOENIX IN SECOND RACE WITH MANUFACTURER


AJ Allmendinger, in just his second race since his No. 44 Richard Petty Motorsports changed manufactuers, led all Ford drivers with a 13th-place finish at Phoenix International Speedway on Sunday. Allmendinger, driving the Ford Drive one. Fusion, posted a 10-place finish at Texas the previous weekend. Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion, finished 14th, to remain in seventh place in the standings with just one race – the Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway next weekend – remaining in the 2009 season.
