5 Things Ford Does to Give Back

Ford gives back in many ways. Check out the things they do to help those in need.

1. Volunteer Work

Every year Ford participates in more than 112,000 hours of volunteer work all over the world. This can include construction, landscaping, debris removal, etc.

2. Education

Ford is a huge advocate of learning. They donate funds and support scholarships with many different schools. They also provide advanced learning for standard driver education. They often donated tens of thousands of books to school in many states.

3. Donations

Henry Ford was a philanthropist. As well as he was a great supporter of charitable giving. He would donate openly and willingly and has been said to give away a third of his income over the span of his life.

4. Community Service

In Detroit, one Ford dealership donated a 2016 Ford F-150 and by doing this, they aided the city in being able to help tear down abandoned properties, haul more than 7,000 pounds of mulch, and install bus benches.

5. Safety

Safety is every manufacturer's top concern. Much like their support of education, Ford provides a "Ford Driving Skills for Life" course to provide advanced learning and safety for all drivers.
