1. Super Duty

The Ford F-series is part of the best-selling vehicles on the planet because of a rabid following, tried and true performance, and legendary endurance. But now, Ford has decided to change things up and produce a Super Duty that is the first real new iteration in almost 20 years. Before naysayers can jump to cry out the reign of Ford is over, check out these changes that will silence the doubters once and for all.

2. It's What is on the Insides That Count

Ford is using an aluminum body structure that saves a heap of weight and will aid in getting the Super Duty up to satisfactory speed. Ford has also beefed up the frames, axles, suspension and drivetrain components to keep the truck well ahead of competitors in towing and hauling capacities.

3. That Body Tho

Gazing at the camo-less exterior, we can see that the front end is unique for the Super Duty showing a tall menacing face that some could find polarizing. It shares some things with the younger brother F-150, but the headlights are larger, the grille is taller, and the hood along with fenders are all unique. That grille that comes with the Super Duty can also take on a different appearance depending on the trim grade of choice.

4. Get Up and Go

Speaking of power, the 2017 Super Duty trucks will come with the prior Gen holdovers, but with upgraded horsepower and torque. The TorqShift transmission will also continue on.

5. Rich Corinthian Leather

The interior of the new Super Duty has gotten a boost also all the way from the base XL to the top tier Platinum model. A spanking new TFT display on the upper level trims can show all type of information at the push of a touchscreen button. The rear floor on the super cabs are flat for easy loading and unloading of cargo. Six cameras on the truck work with a coaching application to aid in the a view of not just what's around you, but also warn you when you may jack-knife.
