Ford Motor co. Coutus tracking ??????
Hope some has had same problem that I have had or just is Isolated issue I tried to log onto Ford Vehicle 2017 f-350 srw lariat tracking web site & entered information it asked for to track , the information I entered was 1.order number 2.Dealer code & last name . When it came up it said I had ordered a gold 2017 explorer & gave me a build date?? I was like WHAT!!! I called my salesman & informed him that I was concerned about my new truck order . He went on Dealer only web site vehicle visibility web site & said that I did Indeed have a new 2017 f-350 ordered & gave me a VIN number & tentative build date. ?? I then went back to Ford vehicle tracking web site & entered my VIN number & it now shows no record of this vehicle in system & to contact Dealer. I am just a little disappointed in FORD'S computer system it encourages new buyers to interact with it to track build progress of a $70,000 vehicle & it DOSEN'T work!!!!

Yeah, it's sad because for a lot of people (like myself) it's a big deal special ordering a new vehicle, especially one so nice, and it would be nice to follow along. It's what I consider "part of the experience" and as a company that sells expensive toys you would think they would recognise this.
Maybe we should change the name to coitus because it's always screwing up! lol

Thanks for reply I ordered truck on March 2nd & received a VIN march 10th I tried tracking a couple of times a week since getting VIN & still nothing . All I can hope for is build date of week of April 3rd . Seems I have been waiting for ever already can't wait for new truck to arrive , last new truck was 2001 f-250 v-10 almost 17 years ago what a leap in comfort & technology .

Firecat, I think I have you beat, the last new car for me was in 1989 and it had wind up windows and no AC! After that car lasted me 15 years I've slowly improved buying better and better used cars/SUVs and then my current 09 F150. Letting other people take the financial hit yet still doing everything I needed them to do. I'm finally in a position to buy my dream truck that will be ready to go when I retire in 4-5 years to take me on my travels
I've only had mine show up on the ETIS site so far, my build date was provided by the dealer. From what I've seen my build sheet should be this week.
