The drawback of the 3" receiver is that there aren't that many inserts that have a 3" shank. If you're going to be using a WDH then 2.5" is the best you can do. For plain ball mounts, Weigh-Safe sells a variety of 3" shanks.
I'm stuck using my 2" shank WDH. I've gotten quite good at cussing at the sleeves.

With a 2500 pound pallet sitting on the very back of the flatbed my 350 srw is barely touching on the front of the top overload. So a 350 drw with a 21000 pound trailer would probably be squatting about that much, give or take.

That is the only unknown Caruso but as Jim says, it should be a 2.5" with the short bed HD 250. I've heard conflicting info but it really wouldn't make sense to have the higher rated SB SRW 350 get a 2.5" and have the SB HD250 get a 3". However, no one that I've seen here on FTE has gotten a Job 2 SB HD 250 to confirm one way or the other. Be sure to report when you get yours!
