I can ask but im sure it wouldn't be cost effective. there is a lot of time on this little piece of steel. I really just wanted to share my idea if any of you have machine shop buddies.. this was done using a cnc and a wire machine for the inside hole since its so long.
I also saw that one but didn't like that it stuck out so far.
I have a Reese adapter for my 2 1/2 receiver so I can use my 2" bar. It is sloppy and too short. Put it in one way and it sticks out, put it in the other way and it is too far in to provide support. I'll be welding an extension on it as well as a couple of beads so it fits better.
One of the problems with making a home-made adapter or hitch extension is the internal weld on the tube and the corner radius of the heavier walled tubes. The weld protrudes into the tube and needs to be ground off so the draw bar can be inserted. Some of the lighter duty draw bars have square corners and will not fit 1/4" wall tubing without having the inside radius machined square. The hitch manufacturers must be set up to perform this machining or a specification for their square tubes not available for off the rack purchases.

Good point - I may just insert the bar before I weld the adapter, and weld the adapter on both ends, thus sacrificing the bar for any further use in a 2"receiver. Interestingly, I have several 2" bars (solid) and the adapter is loose on one and tight on the other such that I had to drive it on. Also, a label on the Reese adapter states it must not be used with a WD hitch, Which I do not need, but oh boy, maybe they just want to sell 2 1/2" WD bars.
