new to me '71 F600
hey guys, this past weekend i picked up a '71 F600 with a gravel box on it. the body isn't horrible but could certainly use a paint job. it has a rebuilt 390 (out of a pickup) and a new clutch with only 3k miles on them. new master cylinder & the brakes are great! runs and drives out real well, shifts nice (5 speed) and the two speed rear shifts as it should.
with all that being said i feel like it'd be a nice truck to spiffy up a bit. i'm curious as to what from the pickup lineup will work on this truck, specifically the dash pad and heater fan. the dash itself is nearly perfect but the pad is split and curling up. i also had to tear the headliner out of it as it was sagging badly and dry rotted beyond repair.
if anybody would share some guidance/advice i'be forever grateful!!

General info and sources here:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...have-info.html
I can't find much else, although I'm sure it's there.
If you post a picture of your warranty plate with VIN, trans, axle, interior etc codes, that can give you OEM info.
MAYBE Numberdummy will happen by and give you a link to the factory interior parts pictures.
Dash pad, heater etc, should be available.

Padded dash is the same, 1971/72 F100/750; 1973/79 F500/880 / Obsolete
You can take it off, the dash will be painted underneath.
You could have it repaired by justdashes.com (Van Nuys CA), but this will be very expensive.
There are two different heater blower motors for 1971. I need to know what the last 6 digits of the VIN are.
The white non perforated headliner is the same 1971/72 F100/750, but 1967/69 F100/750 should also fit, since the cabs are essentially the same.

Maybe? Surely you jest and don't call me Shirley. I spend a lotta time in this forum, have more posts than everyone else combined.

the vin is F61ECL42253, also would appreciate any advice/guidance on a one piece wheel to replace the split rims. i'm seeing a lot of 6 lug wheels but no fives in a suitable diameter. i don't have a problem staying with a 20" wheel but i'd prefer a 22.5" simply for better tire availability... thanks!

DSO code stamped on the Warranty Plate decodes to the Ford district sales office the truck was ordered from.
Also on this plate is the AXLE, TRANS and etc. codes.
