so I really wish I was able to get the LED headlights like I'm sure everyone that didn't get the higher end trucks wants also. So I decided to jazz up my halogen headlights a bit. Split them and painted the bezels black and through some led bulbs in with some morimoto led fog lights off my previous 15 f150 (they are the same exact fog light)..I'm not sure what sealant ford uses but it was like concrete. Baked at 250 for 10 min about 4 times a headlight to get fully apart now I'm trying to find some vinyl wrap that matches oxford white to do my bumpers and mirror caps. Can't seem to find a thread about that

I'm not a fan your bulb choice, but I do like the blacked-out look of the bezels you painted.

That looks pretty darn nice!, good job. Like that black bezel too. I hope the Chinese LEDs hold up, I've had mixed results w them in my snowmobiles... w longevity/reliability.

Not sure if they are what's going to stay in for bulbs, light output is nice, didn't want to go Hid with ballasts and harnesses. Wanted simple plug and play. I'll run these for now until something better comes along... thanks for the likes guys!

Keep us posted on your status of wrapping the bumper and mirror caps. I'm looking to wrap my bumper and grill when I receive my truck. Trying to decide on paying to have it done or DIY.

I had Ziebart do rustproofing at a nice price for the service....I am not sure I am a fan of working on a vehicle with everything coated with a soft, black sticky goo but I hate rust even worse. They also did a clear bra and mirror caps and door pillars. Their showroom has a huge rack of different colors available for doing wraps. I am pleased with the job they did and I like the lifetime warranty on the clear applications. Might be a reasonable place to start your search but there are many other graphic shops who do wraps as well, maybe for less. Ziebart shops are all over the place on quality so my good experience may not translate well to a different area.
Good luck at getting a satisfactory job!
