Hey everyone I'm new here and have a question about my bed. It measures 7' outside to outside but my wheel base is 117". So do I have a long bed or short bed? Thanks in advance Here is a pic of it to help maybe.

That's what I was thinking. Posted that tonneau cover for sale and someone was trying to say it was a long bed since that cover measures 7'. Thanks for the information so far everyone.

It's a nice looking truck, but I'm not too fond of the Chevy conversion. Hopefully you can make contact with original owner. @Ford Matt

My wife and I installed a Tuxedo brand on her '68 F250. We had to special order one, it fits perfectly. We are very happy with it.

Long bed will let 23 full sheets of plywood (4 feet wide x 8 feet long) lay flat … with the tailgate shut. Likewise, 56 of those full 8 foot long 2x4s also, with some room to spare. Short bed puts all of that on top of tailgate … or tailgate stays open.
