68 Exhaust

Any recommendations on switching from side exhausts to straight out the back exhausts? Looks to make the change here soon and would like to hear feedback. Will it require new mountings etc?

Gulp... LMC offers a kit.

Do your homework whether it is suitable for your application.

Summit Racing carries Flow Masters Dual Kit that supplies a variety of pre bent tubes that you could use to put together your own system.

Might work for you since you could exhaust clamp it together and add hangers as needed.

I know Dodge does factory exhaust out the back but YEARS ago I heard the reason why Ford Never has. Dodge does it for those fancy cut outs in the bumper. Sales gimmick. Ford doesn't because of Turbulence. The same turbulence that Nascar drivers use when they are drafting. This turbulence "can" hurt exhaust flow in some situations. The air flow around and under the vehicle can help "pull" the exhaust out on side and under exhaust systems.
