Vin Decoder Help Please

Hi, I am looking for some help to decode a VIN the Serial is RM81H48-10399. I am trying to figure out the Year, Make and Model. I think its a 49 Merc M-135. Can anyone verify this? Thanks.

Is that a COE?
RM would be an F5 or an M5 COE (F-135)
81 indicates that it was sold as a cab & chassis

Hi and thanks for the help. I don't think it was a COE as the hood is missing - just the cab and doors were left. Its a great start for me anyways. Thanks again. JON

Stu, most of the charts that were there have been scrambled and near impossible to decipher.
