Mirror extenders

I saw these years ago and have searched the Internet without success. Does anybody have an idea who or where I can get them?

I had a set of them on one of my past trucks and I wasn't happy with them, to much vibration when going down the road making the mirrors almost unusable.

Hmm, interesting. I wonder if those clip on style of mirror that clip onto the existing mirror would be a better option? Do you have any experience with them?

Until I got actual tow mirrors for my F150, I used the CIBA clip on mirror extensions. They worked really well and fit like a glove. The downside was that they still didn't have as much mirror area as an actual tow mirror, nor did they have the convex mirror.

I will check them out. I have been towing for over 35 years and have always had tow mirrors. The 3 point type but I inherited a really nice BMW and I can't get it and the truck in the garage and I don't want to leave either one out side so I am thinking of taking those huge mirrors off and putting the fold away mirrors on. I am just trying to figure out how to get them far enough out to see past the 5th wheel.

My truck was a dedicated tow truck so I used a piece of steel bar stock and made a solid extender that could be removed if needed. I used two bolts where I mounted them to the mirror bracket so it would move going down the road. I had 3 different truck that had that style of mirror so I wanted a solid fix.

I thought about doing the same thing. I am only on the road for about six months out of the year. The rest of the time and I am home. I have to get those big mirrors off so this would be my next best option.

When I tow a trailer (02 Durango) I also wanted good mirrors and was lucky my dad had a add on set that went on the door. He had ones for the fender toobut did not want to use them.

Best picture I could of how they work in here.

Etrailer also has them but no pictures.

As you can see when not towing I just remove them.

Interesting comments guys, I appreciate the responses. I am pasting all the comments on my desktop to refer to later. The body shop is taking its sweet time getting the truck back to me so I will see how far out the mirrors need to be extended when I hook the trailer up. Then I will decide what too do.
