Auxiliary Switches

I purchased a new F250 with the Auxiliary Switches. I would like to use them for some LED lights, both front and rear. Where is the point that I can tap into to them? I found the fuses for them, but can not find the point where I can attach the wires.

What year? My '06 has the upfitter switches wire into a set of orange wires behind the fuse block under the steering wheel. Helps to remove the fuse block so you can reach the wires. Mine were also wrapped in tape that said which switch went to which wire (different colors).
Lots of info online about them, along with the pass thru wires from the engine bay. Best of luck!

I bought some 9" wide LED lights to hang under bumper on my '16 F250 for trailer loading and parking. I do see a couple of pigtails/plugs behind the left rear tire. Is there any existing wiring at the back of truck that I can use or do I need to run my own wiring up to cab to use upfitter switch? Thanks,

You'll need to run your own wire from back into the cab. The upfitter switch wires on my 16 were behind the dash near the park brake pedal. There was a whole bundle of customer access wiring right there, it's a little difficult to see if you're a bigger guy like me.

Thanks, Tim! I just picked up some hardware to mount lights to bumper support right behind the chrome bumper.

I just added the upfitter switches to my 16. Look between the park brake pedal and the brake pedal for 4 wires coming off a small harness. They are about 4 in. long Green, Yellow, Purple, and Brown, they have shrink wrap cap on the end. You may need to pull panel off under steering wheel to get a better look.
Then look for the pass thru wires (4 wire stubbs that go through the firewall from cab to engine compartment. In the engine compartment look behind the fuse block and you will find 4 wires with shrink wrap caps on them. On mine they were, White, White with orange stripe, Grey with Orange stripe, and Grey with white stripe. If you look next to the park brake pedal a harness goes through the firewall. Look for 6 in long stubs coming off of that, probably taped on to harness(14 wires on mine). Find the 4 colors that you had in the engine bay and use those to run the power from the switch out into the engine bay and then go from there.

4 wires coming from top are power from the switches, other 4 are the pass thru wires. I installed switches so I may not have routed the switch harness wires exactly where ford did.
