F-350 Short bed large fuel tank

Anyone out there know of any competitors to the Titan polypropylene fuel tanks? Do they have a monopoly on the market? I've found the aluminized steel tanks but I'd like to see if there are any competitors to Titan for polypropylene tanks?

Yes, Titan has a monopoly on poly tanks. Transfer Flow makes an excellent product. Right here in my home town of Chico,CA. It is an aluminized steel tank and very tough.
PH# (530) 893-5209 or (800) 442-0056. What about putting a longbed tank in your truck? There's plenty of room, but I don't know if the plumbing and mounting hardware would work.

Long bed tank will not work in a short bed truck. you might make it fit if deleted.

Larry, just asking. How does the delete affect tank fit ? The filter/SCR and fuel tank are on opposite sides.

I've looked at them but right in their description it says that they ride 6" below the frame side rails. I don't want anything lower than standard.

If fully deleted, then you would have extra room the DEF tank use to occupy. This might make room for a long bed tank.

I have not seen any articles on anyone installing the long bed tank in a short bed when fully deleted.

I have had the Titan tank in my truck almost 3 years now without any problems or concerns. If you are off roading a 9000 pund truck, then there might be a concern. I love the added range the tank offers when towing the 5th wheel and the room in the bed also for a generator instead of a fuel tank.

The Transfer Flow tank hangs down about the same amount also. I don't think you're going to get around that hurdle.

I haven't either, it was just an idea that popped into my head. After looking at pictures of both tanks, the L/B tank looks to have its bung further back. I imagine the straps would not be in the right locations either.
