You dudes that plow...........

First year in ten. Batteries (newer known good) Kept dropping volts when hard at it.

Everything is Coast Guard clean as far as connections truck side.

Pay attention to your plow connections. From the plow motor up.

I could have named my maintenance on the plow forgotja.

Arm yourselves in the cold, do some Preventative.

Denny

Wish I had some snow to plow...we've had 0.7 inches total this year with 60 degree temps starting tomorrow and a few days next week. Not looking good...

Northern Michigan, looking at a week plus of 50 degree weather.

Not a money maker this year but it does save the truck.

Denny (BTW) My alt is only putting out 12.4...........there in lies the problem.

My cousin in new York, plows. He's stoked when there's no snow. His arrangement is this.. His customers pay X upfront, one time fee for services between Oct-March. Some years are great(2yrs ago) and some years he plowing 5x a day..(lots of fuel use)

Hmmm..... Things have been different way out West. I had to put any ideas of engine swaps on hold until the Prius was once again a viable vehicle.

I finally dug out today, with a lot of chiseling and the help of an 11 HP snowblower named "Chewy".
