air leaks in the cab

so i'm sure it has been covered a thousand times and maybe more. But i'm annoyed enough at this point i'm just going to ask because this is where you go to get the answers. right? anyway the door seals are letting air in about the 35mph mark on up and driving my wife and kids crazy witch in turn make me the guy that has to fix and until its fixed there is no mercy lol. I would like to hear from anybody that has had success fixing the issue and there suggestions and if anybody has pics of there process that would be awesome.

Run a piece of vaccume hose between the door seal and the cab. It will make the seal ride out and seal against the door. Do not pull the seal loose from the cab, just bend the seal out and place the hose between the two.

Those LMC seals are most Likely Made in China. LMC's quality with parts like this is generally cr@p. Dennis Carpenter used to be the go-to site for OEM-quality parts of this kind, but they're getting a lot of China-made low-quality stuff now too. Their all-around-the-door seals are now really cheap quality imports. Try one or another of the online dealership parts counters that support the forums (AutoNation White Bear Lake, Sunrise Ford, etc.). Only a few dollars more, generally quick and very reasonable shipping, and day-and-night wrt. quality.

I've ran them on my other truck for 8 years with no issues and 2 years on the current truck.

Lets say that the top door seal is where it is leaking. Hold the top part of the seal out a little, and place a length of small vacuume hose between the seal and the metal of the cab, then release the seal. The seal will hold the hose in place, and the hose will push the seal out towards the door.

The fronts are good and I just did the rears, so yeah they are as good they can get LOL. For the record, I really hate replacing door pins. It's such a pain in the azz job.

Thanks for the kind words. Keeping the shiny side up so far! We are having a great time and the truck is doing very well. I'll post more up later...and by the way, thanks for letting us derail your thread.
