1997 Ford F-150 4.6L to 5.4L engine swap, missing oil pressure sensor
I recently finished swapping my 1997 Ford F-150 Lariat 4.6L to a 1998 5.4L, everything works okay so far. I'm planning to get it tuned soon so it runs as it should but it doesn't show any oil pressure or engine temperature. I took it to my mechanic and he said it was because the 5.4L measures oil temperature different than the 4.6L. I know it's just because the sensor is missing so I was wondering how I could install one? It isn't that big of a deal but something I'd like to have so I can keep an eye on my engine. Thanks!

I looked on the old 4.6 and it looks like both sensors are tapped into front base of the intake manifold right next to each other. I could be wrong at what these are but at the moment that's what it seems like. Could I tap the oil pressure sensor in from the 5.4 and then wire up the coolant temp sensor from the 5.4 into my 4.6 harness? (I used the 4.6 harness not the 5.4)
