Made the decesion to sell her
I've decide to put my 1948 Ford F-6 up for sale.
It's advertised on eBay, but ideally I'd rather sell it to someone on here, or local.
I'm going to start on my next project.
Let me know if anyone is interested, as I'm open to offers, etc.

Thank you.

Why the decision to sell it Chris? Seems like you were making good progress other than the manifold setback you had, which you seemed to solve. I am just right up the road from you, up 372, and would buy it, but afraid my dog would fall out of the back!
Thats a really nice truck, it looks like it has been well cared for, I love the color.

it's called Tuscan Tan, the original color of the truck. I have a post you can search that U replied to and there is some detail on it.
I like it too. It's one of the things that drew me to it.

Does anyone know what the weight of this truck might be?
I have the spec's but since it has a wood stake bed, etc. I was thinking it was more like 7000 lbs or less.
I found this post which looks good, sound right?:

"The 176" wheel base cab and chassis F-6 model, with no bed mounted, has a curb weight of 4845 lbs when equipped with 20" x 6" wheels and 8.25 x 20" tires, and V8 engine. If you have the big 254 c.i. I-6 you add 25 lbs, and if you have the 2 speed axle add 50 lbs. The curb weight includes fuel and water. Source is the 1952 Salesman's Handbook, should be similar for 1948. Stu"
