2wd lift pictures please

Hey all,

I love my new (to me) f-350, but it bugs me how low it sits. I'd love to do a swap to 4wd but that will be quite a ways down the road. I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of an f-250 or f-350 2wd with a body lift and stock size tires? My truck has 235/85/16s. It's a crew cab dually. The only size Summit racing has is a 3' kit...

Thanks!

I actually kinda like how stock dually trucks sit. Whatever you do, I recommend staying away from body lifts. They are a great way to ruin a perfectly good truck. Too many things don't fit right after installing one, and the engine is harder to work on.

You're not gonna find a lot of pictures because not many people want to use a body lift, not many people want to lift a 2wd and of small number of people who want to do both those things most know that it's not the kind of thing you brag about on the Internet.

You are going to gain absolutely noting by putting a body lift on. You already have the largest tires than can safely go on dually rims so even with a body lift the axles will stay the same height they are at

F a body lift. Level it if you don't like the way it sits.

How much does a leveling kit bring the front up? If it gets 2" that and a rear block would work for me. I considered coil spacers but I'm more concerned with alignment issues than anything else.

Diesel truck I guess?
I was looking around a while back and the only leveling option is coil spring spacers. At least what I learned. Somebody has them on ebay for around $50. Mine is sitting pretty level so I rather don't play with this.

You can get different size spacers, up to 2.5-3" I believe. You'll need caster/camber bushings for another 60 or so for a set, then alignment.

That could work just fine for me so long as it will still take an alignment. I'd always rather do suspension but I had always been under the impression these TTB front ends were not very happy with suspension lifts without dropping the pivots. If I can align it with a 2" spacer that'd be perfect. Thanks!

I've done many, 2" spacers are easy, especially when you take into consideration 20 years of sag on the spring....it really equates to 1-1.5" spacers.

I put the C844s under mine, raised it 1.75 inches with no alignment issues.

I looked these up and apparently they are the stock replacement for my truck. I'm assuming you have an F150?

I might try this first anyway, as 89F2urd pointed out, 20+ years of spring sag might make a huge difference.

MattNJ is right, I've got that heavy 7.3 diesel riding up front in mine.

I heard the rear blocks are different between the 2wd and 4wd F150, is this true for the F350's as well? If so, does anyone know how much taller the 4x4 ones are?
