Stripped plug in 5.4 triton

Hey Everyone, This weekend I went to replace my plugs on my 2001 f150 5.4 Triton and it did not pan out great. After replacing plugs and boots on coils my father and I got the the second piston closest to the hood on the drivers side. As my dad was pulling out the plug about 3/4 the way up the plug starting coming out very hard and a few hard pulls later it was out. I wasn't there for the moment he did this so I wasn't told till after. We looked at the plug and saw the threads were pretty messed up, After looking at it we decided to put a new one in and call it a day, It went in fine with no problems so we thought we were good. After finishing up we took it on a test drive and about two minutes in we hear a load fapping sound coming from the drivers side cylinders. Turned around and went back to the garage. We knew it was the spark plug that was stripped so we took out the plug and now we cant get the plug out of the hole. Not sure if its totally stripped at the bottom but we tried everything to get it out with no luck. So my question is, how to get the plug out and were to go from there? Should I get a kit for the stripped plug hole or?

1.) Drive it until it blows out.

2.) Install a "timesert kit" in that hole.

Research the timesert kit, it is VERY worthwhile.

Soo you are saying that the Spark plug is still in the plug well hole and it won't tighten or loosen.?? If that is the case, I'm afraid the only real way is to remove the head and then remove the plug and put in a time-sert as suggested earlier. Time-sert does make a oversized unit to repair sparkplug threads. On the up side , with the head off you shouldn't have to worry about shavings getting into the cylinder and causing further damage.

On the off chance you get it to work, you could try a pneumatic or electric gun & try backing out the sparkplug with either of those. Maybe it will catch and grab...IDK. I would not try to tighten it with a power tool, that may cause more damage
