CL find, Swamps injectors. Seller knows nothing about them.

Is there any way to tell what size they are and whether they are split shots or single shots? Does Swamps mark them somehow for identification? They supposedly have about 5k miles and he's asking for $600. Thanks!

The solenoid coils are serialized - and the cores are worth $800 when trading in for sticks.

Hmmmm...

Purchase for $600.

Trade in for newly rebuilt $1200 sticks for $800... lemme see...

-$ 600 (expense)
-$1200 (expense)
= $1800 out of pocket
+$800 credit for cores
= $1000 for a new set of $1200 sticks = savings of $200

Two things:

1) I told the seller I'm very interested and plan on buying them, just trying to figure out exactly what I'm buying.

And 2) Lexington,?? Wouldn't happen to be in SC would you?

I called Swamps, they confirmed that they can give me all the info I'm looking for with the serial numbers. The seller is going to get the numbers to me this evening.

Thanks!

If I needed injectors and they truly only had 5K on them, I would be inclined to give them a try before trading them in on a new set, provided they were not 400/200's or something crazy.

Injectors

I saw the CL post you are referencing and the same user has a second post up with a picture of theme in a box. If you cannot find it, send me a PM and I will forward the link to you.

Thanks, I saw that post. He sent me a couple more with the serial numbers so I can send them to Swamps.

But you still have 8 sticks in the truck. I don't know if they'll take 16 cores at $100 for 8 sticks.

Rich has got a good point, I could end up with an extra set of sticks that I don't really need. I'm supposed to meet with the guy this morning, now I'm wondering if I'm spending money unnecessarily.

Contact swamps. See if you can't get a hundo per injector towards purchase of there rebuilt/new... It's a no brainer if in market for sticks.

Yes, but you can turn around and sell the cores from the truck after the fact.
