Heads up! Just found that autoanything.com has a DEAL going on that was too good to pass up. Just ordered a BakFlip F1 for my incoming F350 Platinum Ultimate (short box). Reg price 999.88 at 23% discount. Makes it $769 and change with free shipping. I've had the same cover on my 2011 F150 Platinum since new and really like it. I have $1,500 in free accessories or $1,250 cash back on my F-350.
This would pay for the cover through Ford or I could take the cash and buy the F1.
I had the Ford cover for my F-150 and it was good.
Is the F1 better than the one available through Ford?

 

Here is what i was told by Ford and others on this forum.

Generally the ford REV version is a little better. They take the backflips and replace the plastic parts with metal or sturdier parts and beef it up where they can.

 

I also just tried this on autoanything and got the message the discount code doesn't apply. Maybe the OP got lucky? Bakflip is generally a no go for general promo codes, sometimes they have a bakflip specific sale but rarely.


Edit* It appears to only work on the F1 version of the bakflip. I wanted the revolver or the mx4 as they allow the tailgate to close without opening the topper.

 

Also tried the JOLLY23 code on several other items (Pace Edwards, Viair compressor, etc)...doesn't work. If you're in the market for the F1 version...good deal.

 

Worked for the G2 for me. $631, no va state tax, no shipping!

 

It also works on the BAKFLIP VP. Too bad i already got mine!

 

Did your orders go through or did they cancel them? Had it in my cart this weekend (vp) and today i went to buy it and it no longer applies...

 

My order went through but I did not go through the process of holding the order in my cart - just saw the deal and ordered it at the same time. I have an order confirmation # and shipping window on FedEx Ground between 12/09 and 12/13. I'd try calling their customer service number and explain what happened. Maybe they'll honor the discount.

A few others posted the discount seemed to apply only to certain products. Maybe they goofed. Sorry I can't offer more info. If something goes sideways with my order and delivery I'll repost.
